11 Weeks!

Here we are at 11 weeks!!! Kinley has been a little adventurer. We started the week in NH visiting with my family. Then on Sunday we headed down to New Bedford, MA to celebrate her 2nd cousin Emaline's 1st Birthday!! We had a great time at the party and it is always nice to see everyone. Kinley is still adapting to being held by multiple different people, and she very much is still a Mommy's girl. The pool was pretty cold on Sunday, so she did not enjoy it. This was the first time in a while that she really didn't enjoy the water.

Kinley still is a great sleeper. For naps, she still likes to be held or will sleep well in the swing, but if you try to put her down on a flat surface, she wakes up pretty quickly. However, at night, she goes right to sleep and stays asleep for 10+ hours. We can even put her to "bed" in her carseat when we are traveling and get her home and into her crib without her even waking up. She still is swaddled at night, but is really becoming a wiggle worm, even in her crib. She is able to turn herself completely in the crib. For some reason she enjoys sleeping the short way in her crib instead of the long way she is supposed to.

We took a trip to the Cape to visit with friends and family and celebrate Papa's birthday. Kinley got to visit with the Burns' family again and finally got to meet Uncle Jared. It was a little past Kinley's bedtime, so of course she was cranky! She got to spend lots of time with Papa, Nana Cape, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Stefan, Uncle Cam, Auntie Jade, and Uncle Shawn. She loves to just relax and loves the warm summer breeze and being outside. She took some great naps in her pack 'n play out on the deck. We also got to spend an afternoon at the beach. We have an awesome 3 sided tent that we were gifted that works great for Kinley. It gives me a place to feed her and her a place to play and sleep with protection from the sun.

Kinley is really getting a big smile. She is slowly becoming more accustomed to the camera and will actually smile for me when I ask her to. Of course it takes a few funny faces and some high pitched noises, but it is fun seeing her big gummy smile :)
